W2 29-inch wheelset

Strong 36-hole wheels on our Hub 2. The rear picks up every 3 degrees and runs a 10mm bolt-in axle, so you can fit pegs, which is rare on a 29-inch MTB wheel.

Will it fit my bike?

  • Yes on 29er frames with 135mm rear spacing and 10mm quick-release dropouts, with disc brakes. That covers most 29-inch hardtails and wheelie bikes.
  • Front: forks with 100mm spacing and a quick-release axle.
  • Yes on the Collective C100 V3, and it makes the C100 peg-ready.
  • Not for rim brakes, or for frames and forks that need a thru-axle (12mm, 15mm or Boost).
  • Shimano HG-pattern cassette freehub: fit a compatible cassette, plus your own rotors and tyres (29 x 2.1 inch street tyres like the WTB ThickSlick work well).
