In 2023 and 2024, we at Collective were proud to host the Bikelife competition and showcase at FISE World Montpellier - one of the, if not the biggest action sports event in Europe. We teamed up with FISE and BMX Avenue to put on the event and push forward our main objective for this sport.
For years, the bike life scene has grown through local ride outs, community events and grassroots riders. Being invited to bring Bike Life to FISE was a major step forward, giving wheelie riders a platform alongside BMX, skateboarding, freestyle scooter and other internationally recognised disciplines.
We brought together some of the best Bike Life riders from across Europe on their C100 MTBs, Mafia Bommas and SE Rippers - showcasing their talent, creativity and progression that define our culture. Most importantly, it demonstrated that Bike Life is more than a trend. It is a legitimate discipline with a passionate global community.
At Collective, it's never been about creating the best wheelie bike or competing for sales with other brands such as Mafiabike or SE. We've always believed that wheelie bikes and Bike Life deserve a place on the world stages, recognised as a legitimate sport. Seeing thousands of spectators experience the energy of Bike Life at FISE was proof of how far the scene has come and how much potential it still has.
